Cupro, what is that? Taking advantage of this outfit, I would like to share some features about this fabric.

It is a very special material with Japanese origin, it has come to stay, especially for their commitment to the environment. It is a cellulose fiber, made from cotton linter dissolved in a solution of ammonia and copper oxide. It is highly breathable and regulates body temperature. It is a very soft fiber with a similar silk touch, creating subtle and perfect movements, being very comfortable and easy wearing.

I think is a great option to consider, as big amount of clothing that is manufactured nowadays, it is important be responsible with this type of fabrics which contribute to climate change mitigation.

Because of its origin, manufacturing process and nice final result, we could think it is a very expensive product. Donna Karan or Maison Martin Margiela are some of the brands that have included it in their collections, but we can also find it in brands like Zara, Cos or Friday’s Project, at affordable prices.

Here is an example of Zara, I love this material for many reasons like fitting, touch, cozy and sustaintable.  Highly recommended.
